I didn't realize just how long it had been since I last made a blog entry -- almost as if I'd forgotten I had a blog. My sincere apologies. I'll make a renewed effort to post more regularly, but in the last year or two, there really hasn't been much news concerning The Epsilon Wish, science fiction stories or contests, or my writing in general.
What I can tell you is that I've spent the last couple of years regularly reading new science fiction, mostly by little known, independently published authors. My family gave me a Kindle Fire HD for Christmas a couple of years ago and I promptly began downloading books to read. Like a chain cigarette smoker, I'd light one off another. Reading became my new hobby, pretty much exclusive to everything else. Sadly, my writing time suffered. The silver lining behind the cloud, though, is that I discovered a lot of very good writers, read some amazing stories, and got my own creative juices flowing once again.
Go to the drop down menu under HOME and you'll find a page detailing the recent authors and books I've been reading. It will give you an idea of the kinds of stories I like, and it might give you a better insight into the kinds of stories I'd also like to write.
Just last week I celebrated the publication of The Epsilon Wish by renewing my contract with Sleepytown Press to continue keeping the book in print and available to outlets like Amazon.
